Complimentary Colors : In local language we can say opposite colors but technically the color which stands 180 degrees to other color is called complimentary colors.
Every color does have only one complimentary color.
Analog colors : In local language we call nearby colors but technically the color which stands +60 or -60 of any color.
Every color does have multiple Analog colors.
Monochromatic colors : In local language single color.We have shades and tints for this.
Shades : Whenever the color mix with black gives shade.
Example: Red + Black = Maroon,Here maroon is shade of Red.
Tints : Whenever the color mix with white gives Tint.
Example: Red + White = Pink, Here Pink is the tint of Red.
Triad : The color has difference of 120 degrees.
Units of the Color : Degree,Colors are measured in degrees.
Every color does have degree.
Primary Colors : The Source color or the mother color is called Primary Color.
Secondary Color : The color which is generated form the primary color is called Secondary Color.
What are the Primary colors?
The Primary colors differ from place to place like Printing press,Computer Screen and Manual drawing.
In Manual Drawing Red,Yellow and Blue [RYB] are primary colors.
In Computer Screen Red,Green and Blue[RGB] are primary colors.
In Printing Press Cyan,Magenta,Yellow and Key[Black][CMYK] are Primary Colors.
Technical term of the color in Software is HUE.
What are the Secondary colors?
R+G = 60[Red + Green = Yellow]
R + B = 180 [Red + Blue = Cyan]
B + R = 300[Blue + Red = Magenta]
R + G + B = White, if the screen is white means it having all primary colors.
R - G - B = Black. if the screen is black means abscence of primary colors.
The Right side of the color wheel contains Warm Colors.[Red,Yellow,Orange]
The Left side of the color wheel contains Cool Colors.[Green,Blue,Violet].
Yellow is the most Brightest color.[Brightness = Which reflects light more on screen]
Blue is the most Darkest Color.[Darkest = Which reflects light less on screen]
